MDK Academy #14 – “The big Kladderadatsch!” - Long live the Revolution

The RATTEN 07 and singers of The Choir from Below present: "The big Kladderadatsch!" – Long live the revolution!
Theater

Wednesday | January, 9th | 7pm.

The 100th anniversary of the 1918/19 revolution is reason enough to think about revolution in a comprehensive sense. We are the heirs of this revolution. Our argument is based on the events of the November Revolution, without ignoring all associative or comparable processes of any policy. The basis of our argument is the piece by Daniel Anderson "November Revolution Commemorative Program" (1988).

A question that arises for us in the work process:
What is the connection between revolution and our understanding of parliamentary democracy today?

The aim of the performance is a lively "history lesson" in the form of a theatrical intervention. With our intervention, we want to activate, to stimulate political interest and to a progressive understanding of history. We want to raise the understanding that "revolution" is not an abstract entity.
The protagonists of our theatrical intervention in the museum (public space) are the actors of the RATTEN 07 ensemble. They will be supported by The Choir from Below.
