What to do? Organizing against exploitation in jail?
with Soligruppe Berlin of the GG / BO

Wednesday | June, 19th | 7pm

On Wednesday, June 19th, the last event of the series Trapped in Capitalism of the Seminar for Applied Insecurity [SaU] will take place at our museum. Guests of the evening are the solidarity group Soligruppe Berlin der GG/BO with the topic What to do? Organizing against exploitation in jail?.

In May 2014, the Tegel Prisoner Union was founded. With the idea of overcoming divisions and fighting together, minimum demands were agreed upon: payment of the minimum wage and inclusion in the pension insurance of all prisoners. Prisoners have been fighting these core challenges for 5 years. In a lecture of the Soligruppe Berlin, these struggles and also the working conditions behind bars will be presented.

// Soligruppe Berlin of the GG / BO:
The Soligruppe Berlin is an association of people who reject the jail and try in different ways to fight against it. They support prisoners in their struggles for their rights.

You can find detailed information about the individual lectures, referees and the program directly here at SaU’s website. And our latest news on the lecture series soon on Facebook.
